Course Information
Pharmacy professionals are well informed about clinical interventions to disease states including obesity. They know that lifestyle changes are important but may lack an in-depth knowledge of what constitutes necessary behavioral modifications to lead on to effective, sustainable lifestyle changes and the physiology behind it. This course aims to go in depth about components of lifestyle intervention and its place in weight management with respect to clinical intervention.
This course is suitable for healthcare professional in hospitals, community clinics and nursing homes, personal care givers, fitness/sports coaches and workplace safety and health officers. CPE Points will be awarded to registered pharmacists upon the completion of this course.

Course participants will gain a deeper understanding on the human physiology in obesity and design programs to encourage a necessary lifestyle and behavioural change in patients or clients as part of effective weight management.
Certification
A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).
