Shipbuilding is a complex engineering process where the quality of the final product cannot be compromised. It is a conglomeration of different skill trades working together to achieve a common goal. As such clear management is tantamount not only to ensure a process that is reliable, but one that guarantees safety for all.
Learning Outcomes
Build your future in the marine industry with a deeper understanding of marine safety practices and standards. Plan and apply best practices in carrying out Hull, Outfitting and Shipwright activities. You will also acquire the basics of marine production processes in marine production yards as well as skills in marine production yards layout design.
