This microlearning course provides nurses with an overview of safe practice in medication administration, ways to improve the safety of medication, identifying common medication errors and how to avoid the errors in medication administration.
Learning Outcomes
The Institute of Medicine reported that in the US, 7000 deaths occur yearly due to medication errors. Medication errors account for one out of 131 outpatient deaths and one out of 854 inpatient deaths. Bates et al.
