Course Information
As a healthcare support staff, day to day interactions with patients and their caregivers would involve conversations about their illness, their troubles and experiences. However, at times it is challenging to have difficult conversations with patients and their caregivers, not knowing how to respond or ask questions with sensitivity.
This micro-learning course (MLC) will equip you with the necessary skills to engage in such conversations.Â
Why is this course for you?
The ability to listen and respond with empathy requires skills that encourage open communication and put patients and their caregivers at ease. Basic counselling skills will help healthcare support staff build relationships and become a support person for patients and their caregivers.
