Learning Outcomes
Businesses today generate voluminous amounts of data. With increasing use of automation technologies, organizations’ digital data assets, through their end-to-end business process, will grow by an order of magnitude. Insights into a businesses’ underlying data can be covered with the help of appropriate analytics tools, techniques through organization, aggregation and analysis of the myriad data._x000D_

This course will cover the fundamental concepts of data, data organization and data cleansing to create datamarts and data warehouses. It will introduce tools and techniques for data exploration, explanation and analyses such as data modeling, visualization and storytelling in the context of business applications. The concept of predictive analytics will be explored through the CRISP-DM model, the predictive modeling process, testing and validation of predictive models and application of predictive analytics to different types of businesses.

Senior Lecturer in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, School of Business and Accountancy.
Professionally, he is a trained Systems Analyst and has provided IT consultancy to a wide range of businesses. He also developed the Specialist Diploma in Consumer & Performance Analytics for the CET academy, which has been running for the last 3 years.
