Course Information

As SMEs seek to expand their business, companies need to constantly adopt a growth strategic outlook, particularly in the areas of financial and capital investments as well as mergers and acquisitions.

While the acquiring companies need to know how much a target business is worth, the targets should also be aware of their own values in the market. Understanding the fair values of investments will also help businesses evaluate the soundness of their investments.

In addition, as the fair values of these investments would have to be reported or disclosed for financial reporting purposes.

On the other side of the scale, SMPs working with SMEs should ensure that they are able to deliver and add value to the needs of the clients. Hence, SMPs should equip themselves with business valuation expertise.
