Course Information
The lifespan of an engine depends on the material used in its making, the quality of its built, and how it’s driven. However, one thing holds it all together – maintenance. Nothing lasts forever, but applying proper care and sound knowledge to fixing problems will ensure an engine that lasts a long time.
Learning Outcomes
Get your knowledge of engine technology up to gear with the knowledge and skills to diagnose and identify problems in various engine systems. You’ll learn the ins and outs of fuel injection, emission control, and engine management, including systematic fault-finding using mechanical and electrical approaches.

- Lubricating system
- Cooling system
- Intake, exhaust systems, turbocharger and compressors
- Basic electrics and electronics
- Usage of diagnostic tools
- Fundamentals of sensor, actuator, control unit and network
- Fuel injection system
- Ignition system
- Emission control system
- Engine management system
- Engine overhauling
- Engine management system diagnosis
Certification
Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance.
