Yangon is seen as the driver of Myanmar’s economic growth, and in fact, its GDP has been increasing steadily from US$ 8.9 billion in 2000 to US$ 69 billion in 2017 and is set to grow in 2020. With its strategic location between China and India, Myanmar has direct access to two of the largest markets in the world.
