Also pick up tips from our trainer, a successful ‘back to work’ mum herself, on how she maximized her sabbatical and strategized her next career move.

Unit 1.2 Business Image & Makeover for Your Professional Photo

Half the battle is in how you present yourself. Rebuild your corporate wardrobe by transforming your casual ‘mama’ style to a professional look and keep up to date with tips from a Business Image consultant with international experience. Participate in a make-up demo to learn a quick and easy 5-min routine. Pick up important tips on business etiquette and networking know-how. Want something different from the standard studio photo? Learn to take business profile pictures that uniquely express who you are, even with a mobile phone!

Trainer's Profile

Sandra Chew

Sandra’s former life as a banker at various foreign banks exposed her to the promotion and coordination of business development strategies, Fortune 500 multinational companies, as well as local listed companies. She also has Corporate Communications experience in the shipping industry. After taking some years off to be a stay-at-home, she restrategised her return to work, first joining Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Engineering as an Adjunct Lecturer in 2008 before taking the full-time leap.

Now with the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, she teaches modules such as Cultural Intelligence (CQ) at Work, Career and Professional Preparation and World Issues and is currently pursuing a Master in Education with the University of Melbourne.
